HOW TO: replace line in lawnmaster’s curved shaft trimmer
In this step-by-step video, we’ll guide you through the process of replacing the line in your LawnMaster Curved Shaft Line Trimmer. Whether you’re new to line trimmer maintenance or just looking for a quick refresher, our easy-to-follow instructions and helpful tips will have you replacing your line like a pro in no time!
Step by step guide:
- Unclip two fastening clips to release the spool head
- Remove the spool, clear all left over line
- Cut 3m length of Prime Parts 2.mm line – This can be purchased at your local dealer
- Check spool head for which way to wind on the line
- Fold line in half to create a fold
- Put fold over middle rim and wind on with the line on either side
- Keep in firm while winding round and round until you have approx. 200mm left
- Put line ends into the slots of the spool
- Insert spool into cover with the holes lining up – then pull line into the holes
- Clip cover back on to the trimmer head
Fun Fact:
its best to cut the line slightly shorter than the blade on the guard. This will help with initially starting the machine.
